Walk on Water

As a Film Director I ask my cast and crew to walk on water with me...I don't verbally say that to them but whenever someone commits to making a movie with me that is what I'm asking them. I will bring them out into the deep and my job is to make sure that no one drowns. The cocoon has to be safe for them and within that cocoon everyone has to feel free and comfortable...but not to comfortable, because then laziness may kick in and laziness is certainly not allowed within my sphere. So the excitement has to stay up and everyone's attention must be present.

Walk on Water with me, that is what me as the film director is asking from everyone who has committed to the movie. Not to much to ask, right? So when everyone feels free the creativity flows better, and the actors can give performances that are unhinged and vunerable. The crew members creative wheels are turning besides mine and they to can contribute to the movies sequences...

Note: To any actors/actress' in the past that I've worked with where I didn't produce this freedom and responsibility towards I apologize. Things are different now, I learn as I go.
